Weight changes

In 2013 I decided to finally get out of the overweight BMI range, and go into the normal range. I went on a diet, exercised, and in about six months, I was successful. Weight is in kg, the rest in cm. Date Weight Arm Breasts Below breasts Waist Belly Hip Thigh 2013.01.13. 71.5 31  100 86 86 101.5 105.5 65 2013.06.16. 62.6 29.5 94.5 80 79 92.5 99 59 So I went from this: To this: A definite improvement. My BMI went from 25.6, overweight, to 22.4, normal. I was pretty happy with my weight. Lost about 2-3 sizes in clothes, and had to get a mostly new wardrobe. I also fit into some older clothes. The reason why I was this weight to begin with was due to my Hashimoto's getting so bad, that my Thyroid glands were no longer functioning. This happened in 2007-2008, when I gained about 20kg in a year. I was diagnosed in 2008, an

My Year in Books! What I read in 2014

It's been fun! I first read Cress , which was a good book in the Lunar Chronicles series. Then I read a few Stargate SG-1 books. Especially liked  Sacrifice Moon , and if you like the series, then if you don't read anything else, read that.  The Barque of Heaven   was interesting, but not as good as the other one. After that I saw the Vampire Academy movie. At first I didn't want to watch it, but I saw a preview of it in Project Runway, and it looked fun. The books were a lot of fun, totally not Twilight. So I do recommend for vampire lovers the Vampire Academy series . I went on to read her second series in the universe, Bloodlines , but it just got too much, so I decided to read something else. Meanwhile, I also finished a Doctor Who book, Autonomy . It wasn't one of the better ones, sadly. Last, I started the Heroes of Olympus books after the last one came out. I actually started the last book tonight. T

I've decided to start the 100 Happy Days for my 32nd birthday. My first happy is finally getting down to 55kg, my dream weight.

Had another panic attack today

It wasn't the first, and probably not the last. I never blogged about it before, but I felt the need to write it down. Maybe it'll help. Maybe someone out there with the problem will happen upon this and decide to seek help. There's a lot of stigma with this sort of a problem. You are judged to be weak, crazy, unstable. Perhaps a bit I am unstable, but I'm not weak. Some days my brain is screaming at me to not do regular stuff. Don't leave the flat, don't eat. Yet I have to do these, so I gather myself, and do them anyway. That takes more strength than I've ever known before this ordeal. How did it start? It doesn't seem to have a trigger. I can't tell you one thing. It could have been something with an electric bug repellent that I tried that day. Or I was really sick and that changed something. Or I've been alone a lot, and feeling lonely. Nearing 30 and single. As you see, I really have no idea. All I know is that one minute I was f

I haven't written for some time. A lot of things have happened since my 31st birthday. We went to Crete with mum at the end of July. It was a lot of fun, but the heat was hard to bear. I couldn't eat during the day. In the evening we had a rather big meal near the hotel. The waiter was a gem. I had one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. We saw the ruins of Knossos. It was amazing. To build such things 3500 years ago! Otherwise I wasn't that overwhelmed with Crete. There just wasn't enough to see and do. It was a bit too touristy. The buildings were too new and still in not very good condition. Though I understand that Heraklion was mostly destroyed during WWII. In September I was in Szeged and we meet up with Gizi. She mentioned that her older son was going to Tuscany with a travel agency that did more active trips. It sounded great. I checked, and they still had seats on the bus, plus it wasn't very expensive. So I decided to go. I've f
