Book about Rome


For Christmas I gave some people my little book that I wrote about my travel through Rome. It looks pretty cool. I had it printed and made out as an actual book. I also posted it online. I hope some people will read it.

Breakfast: Rice crackers with garlic and Parmesan with mayo. Olives. Coffee with 3 tsp cane sugar and some lactose free milk. Fresh lemonade. Lots and lots of supplements. Lunch: Millet balls with cheese and sour cream with a warm salad left over. Dinner: A little bit of pea soup. Aches and Pains: Very bad neck pain and headache. Turned 30 today. Spent the day in Zalakaros in a hotel. It was a lot of fun. We told the staff that I had a birthday, and the owner was informed as well, so mum and I got our massages at half the price. We spent the morning getting pampered and enjoying the jacuzzi. After a nice lunch we went on a walk to the lookout tower. We got a bit lost on the way, but mostly because someone fenced off a portion of the road. The neighbour helped us get around. I was a bit scared for mum, because her heart was hurting a bit, but after some rest she got better. The weather was fantastic. It did rain the day before, but the sun was shining for my birthday. After going up on the ladders to the top of the lookout, where we saw the Balaton at a distance, we went down and had some wine at a restaurant below. Weekend and ex-flatmate

I had a really relaxing weekend. I worked hard this week, doing overtime a lot. I usually didn't get to relax until 8pm. So this weekend I practically spent in bed. It was nice, because I didn't have to heat up the flat too much. Gas prices have gone up again and I need to cut back on my heating as I use gas for it. So I wear a lot of clothes and sleep under two blankets. Have to save up for my trip to Scotland in July. I also need to buy a TV. So yeah, I have a lot of expenses to cover. I do have some savings, but I would like to keep it where it is now and not take out of it. My ex-flatmate sent me a mail on Tuesday about wanting to meet up. I haven't written back. I'm just not sure I want to see him again. I put up a good front until we were living together, but I don't want to anymore. He called me an alcoholic, a liar, a hypochondriac and some other stuff behind my back to my mom. Yeah, I managed not to punch him. So I don't know why he would want to ...
