Vienna, belly dancing festival and other things

It's been a while since I've written a post here. A lot of things happened.

Things with my boyfriend are going well. We do try to see each other as many times as possible. Though he does go home every weekend, which makes meeting on a Saturday hard, but at least I have the weekends to play. Maybe we can work out a better schedule from January.

We went to Vienna on December 4th though. It was cool as I hadn't been there for about 20 years. We did have a good time and he loved it. It was his first time abroad. He can understand now when I talk about how hard it is to come back to Hungary. You just don't want to. I guess we do have to though. One thing we did agree on was that next time we travel, we do it in warmer weather. It was really cold. Freezing even.

On the train there we didn't have a place ticket, which we will need to get next time. I ended up sitting on the floor and he stood. I did tell him to sit down on the ground with me. Once there, we walked down Maria-Hilfer st. and decided to sit in to a café to warm up and wake up fully. We ended up in a Starbucks. They actually have an Egg Nogg Latte there that we don't have here, though they don't have a latte that we have either.

After that we walked around a lot. Checked out a lot of Christmas fares. We got hungry and really cold, so we had lunch in a café. After some more walking we went back to Maria-Hilfer and looked around a Humanic. I bought cow slippers to keep my feet warm. Then in the H&M next door I bought a long blue pullover and Csaba got some gloves. We headed back to the train station and I got some Heisse Maroni (roasted chestnuts) and he got some pizza. We went back with an earlier train than planned, because we were knackered. It was the train going to Romania and not exactly the fanciest, but we had a sitting place and it got us home. A nice young couple sat down next to us in the booth and I had a bit of a chat with the girl. We laughed at how we both had the train tickets and not our men did. It was really late when we got back, so I just showered and then slept for 12 hours.

Another thing that I did was go to this belly dancing thing with two of my colleagues. It was the 9th Oriental Dance Festival. The performances were good, though there was a lot of fusion, so by the end it was getting a bit tiresome. My teacher also performed, brilliantly as usual. I did try to take some pictures, but pretty much all of them turned out blurry. The lights were really low most of the time and my camera is just not good enough for such poor conditions, or I'm just not good enough at setting it. We did enjoy the festival though and my colleagues want to go again, so I'll keep my eye on belly dance festivals. It also made me think of performing again, which I really miss.

On my diet, I'm just not doing it now. I am watching what I eat and try to eat less, but I just can't get myself to count calories. Maybe from January.

The story I haven't continued. I have a lot of stuff at work and I just don't have the energy to write. Maybe during the holidays.
