Online dating, Reading, Scotland


Still hate online dating. No replies to anything I send out. There were two guys who sent messages to me. One gave me a bad feeling when looking at his picture. I usually have good gut instinct, so I staid away from that one. The second one was in Győr, which is far from Budapest. I would not like to date someone who doesn't live in the area, so I gave that a pass too. Thus, no luck. I'm frustrated now and feel like just not bothering with the whole thing anymore.

I read the Sookie Stackhouse novels. All 10 of them. I think/hope that there are going to be more. It was really great. The books are not overly long or drawn out. Action all the way. Really exciting. It has romance and mystery as well. Eric is my favourite. In the TV series the actor who plays him is gorgeous. He was naked from behind in the season premiere and my fantasies stared him ever since. Seriously, everyone should see that. Tall, blond, muscular, ... drool. Anyway, they are really fun, easy-to-read vampire novels, just the kind I like. Now that I'm finished with them, I'm starting "The Sword of Truth" series by Terry Goodkind. It got mixed reviews, but I really liked the TV series, so I'm giving the books a go. I couldn't find them in the stores, so I'm reading on the computers.

I'm going to Scotland soon for 2 weeks. I'm so excited about it! I can't wait. Though I am a little scared of the whole thing, but I'm not going to let that stop me. I'm not going to blog about the trip here. I started a travel blog on this really neat site. Here's the link:

I wrote a big blog post about losing weight, but not only that happened this year. January I left my position at Avaya. It was weird, because I've never been fired before. Though they took me back as a contractor, it's still an unstable position, though what position is really stable? However, it also meant losing some benefits, and that I would never get a raise in the new position. Not that I ever got a significant raise during my time at the company, or since working really, there was still hope though. Not to talk about bonuses. Who gets bonuses in this day and age anyway? Or at least an amount that actually matters? So I actually spent most of January at home. I had a bit of an accident, and dropped an old TV stand on my right foot. 2015 January - June

January I finished my event planning course. There was first a sort of practice oral test, then a real one. I got a 5 for my real one, so now I have a paper that says I can plan events. I don't know if I'll ever use it, but you never know. The practice test was funny, because there wasn't anyone in the room after we got our question and could work on it. I didn't need my papers, however, because it was about analysing a source. For the real test I really wanted the first question. I used to be very good at always pulling the number that I wanted, and I relied on that. As so it happens, I did it again! I got home pretty early, and in the afternoon got a call from RTL Klub TV station, that I was selected for a small part in "Budapest Day and Night".
